As Principal, my job is to ensure that all students are kept safe and are taught using a high quality curriculum that meets their needs by working with all members of staff across the Academy. I have daily contact with all members of the Senior Leadership Team and they keep me up to date with everything that goes on around Abbey Hill Academy. I also work closely with other leaders both within HSAT and beyond to ensure that we keep up to date with the ever changing educational landscape so that our students do not miss out.
I really try to meet with as many students as possible on a regular basis, usually during breaks and lunches to find out what is important to them and ensure that they are getting the high level of support and teaching that they clearly deserve. I also try to catch up with parents and carers both before and after school.
